Summer reading options

Interested in summer reading options? Although the local libraries are closed, there are options for literacy opportunities available. Below is a list of options that students can access.


K-2nd Grade

  • Raz-Kids (an online guided reading program with interactive ebooks, downloadable books, and reading quizzes)

Check with your child’s teacher to continued use of RAZ Kids (to include access, username and passwords)


3rd-8th Grade

  • Reading Plus(an adaptive literacy intervention that develops the fluency, comprehension, and motivation students need to be successful readers)

Check with your child’s ELA teacher for continued use of Reading Plus (to include access, username and passwords)


7th-12th grade

  • Sync Audiobooks for Teens (a free summer audiobook program for teens 13+)

The local library is planning the Summer Challenge this year. Unfortunately, details are not available at this time.
